The mission of FIRST Indiana Robotics is to inspire young people in Indiana to be science and technology leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation,and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.Working closely with FIRST - For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology - our PreK-12 robotics-based programs provide students a hands-on, mentor-led opportunity in project-based learning. We are committed to ensuring that every student in Indiana has access to a high quality FIRST experience.

The organization is organized for exclusively religious, charitable, educational, and scientific purposes within the meaning Section 501(c)(3) the Internal Revenue Code 1986 or the corresponding provision any further United States Internal Revenue Law, including for such purposes the making distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under said section 501(c)(3) the Internal Revenue Code 1986. Specifically, the corporation will provide financial support initiatives regarding education, family advocacy, social justice, health and wellness, economic stability, youth mentoring, and scholarships to youth pursuing higher education.

TO INSPIRE AND GIRLS OF ALL AGES TO PURSUE STEM RELATED EMPLOYMENT INDIANA BY INTRODUCING THEM TO EXPERIENCES AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES THE FIELDS OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATHEMATICS AS WELL AS PROVIDE THE NECESSARY FINANCIAL SUPPORT, MENTORING, TRAINING AND EDUCATION FOR -RELATED CAREERS.

Our career training and placement programs up-skill unemployed under-employed and career-transitioners who are interested in careers in the tech industry.
